1. Photos of the early Lyricals band

1.1 earliest Lyricals photo shows the influence of the Original Dixieland Dance Band who Harry and Syd had seen performing at the Hammersmith Palais in 1920. Mark Lyons has dated this photo 1920. Personnel appear to be:
left-to-right: Syd Roy, N.Tronny, Harry Roy, Harold Lyons, Eddie Collis.

1.3 now the band was resident at Rector's. Mark has dated this photo 1922, and we see the arrival of Tommy Venn.

1.5 this photo is dated 1926, and from it we identified N. Tronny. From other photos he appears to have played violin and trombone.

1.6 this photo is also from 1926, and we see the band was now resident at the Cafe de Paris, London

1.7 this photo was taken in the Cafe de Paris, London. Mark has dated it 1924 but the added trumpets suggest it may be later. Thanks to Mike Thomas for identities of trumpeters

1.8 this photo was also taken in the Cafe de Paris, London. Mark has dated it 1926.

1.9 In 1930 The Lyricals toured Germany. This postcard dated 27 January states:
"My address for this week only is Hotel Leopold, Munich. This is the place we are working at in Berlin. We start January 31st" (at the Haus Gurmenia)
