Photos of Al Bowlly with Egar Adeler from the 1920s are very rare. I am indebted to Chas Ambler, distant relative of Edgar Adeler for permission to reproduce the two photos below.

Many thanks to Paul Sarjeant for providing this photo of his great-uncle Stan Gosling who played trumpet and trombone with some of the British Dance Bands, and in particulr this photo has allowed us to identify Stan Gosling in several of the photos on this website of Syd Roy's Lyricals (see the Harold Lyons pages):

Stan Osborne was a dance band sax player who recordfed with several British bands in the 1930s including Billy Cotton, Jack Payne and Billy Thorburn. I am indebted to family of Stan Osborne for permission to reproduce three photos below of Stan later in life, still an active musician:
